I want to fish Lake fork Texas. Has Anyone been there fishing and do you have any recommendations?
I ahve been dying to fish there and finally decided I will go. I am from Rhode Island and do not know which airport to fly to in Teaxs where it is not too long of a ride from the airport. I am also looking for a good guide. I have seen a few out there and have one ion mind but if you have a great recommendation I would appreciate it.
Yes i do no a great deal about lake fork, the best place to fish is in the middle of the lack were their is submerged island, with a GPS, find it, but don’t fish right way, with the GPS find a “point” on the island, that point holds bit large mouth year round, the best thing to use there in the summer is to jig worming, shaky head or shaky worming. the water depth on this island is about 12 to 16 feet of water. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BIl9IWzJh-o
an other lure to use (but is not as affective) a crank bait that dives about 10 to 15 feet.
