Why does ‘lacing’ the pages of 2 books(like phone books)together make them almost impossible to pull apart?
I saw this on Mythbusters,they alternated putting down a page of two phone books,combining them,not even the force of two tanks rolling in opposite directions could pull them apart,it only ripped the binding apart.
I tried this today with two composition books.It worked and no one was able to get them apart,I was only able to undo them by flipping every page back to the book it belonged to.
Why are these practically inseparable?
