Heroes in  Depression Poems    rated 5 of 5

We run
Run sweet child, run
to find a land of fairy tales
where death cannot be found
By our chivarly we are bound.
Together we can search
For together we are strong...

hey....heros are never wrong.

We cry.
Weep sweet child weep.
Lone warrior inside the cold.
You see the life pass you by.
Under darkened moonlit skies.
Together we had searched
But paradise we could not find.

hey....even heros cry.

We laughed
Laugh my love laugh.
Bring to me your songs
A song sung to the golden moon
We shall find out homeland soon!
Together we will search
So that in Paradise we may lay.

hey...even heros pray.

So we found the land. And together we fought...
and one by one we were slain.
The leader gave a gentle sigh..
Oh how you understood his pain.

So the time had come.
Cry lone warrior cry. Your own life passed you by.
And the moon...the last moon you shall see....

Cause hey....

even heros die.
