Sailing away in  Depression Poems

I'm sailing away! Sailing away with me!
I'm waiting for my ship to come.
To sail across the sea.

The ship that comes
They say takes away our pain!
It can come in any form
It can be a game.

It can be a pill
that drowns you in your sleep.
It can be a knife
Blood the ocean keeps.

It can be a noose
No sign of land for you.
It can be a needle
Its what you deem to choose!

But the ship comes in many forms!
You don't have to go like that.
All you do is make a wish
The ship'll come in no time flat

The ship is quick, don't you worry.
I've seen it sail before.
It took my friend away
right off the beach's shore.

So here I wait on the beach
Looking out for sails
Hoping it will bring her back
Through the ocean's gales.

Captain! Hurry up!
I wish for you today!
If I keep on wishing... that ship
will come for me one day.
