Breakable in  Depression Poems  Fractured Love Poems  Life Poems

I may have thought our relationship was so very strong
I was dead wrong
Our relationship was as fragile as a vase

I watched our beautiful thing shatter into a million pieces
As our relationship ceases
And as I loose the one I loved

You made me feel like my heart was made of gold
And that we would be together until we were old
I was so wrong as my heart shattered

I thought you were real to me
I couldn’t see
Through the mask

You swept me right off my feet
Just to drop me
Shattering into the cement ground
