Everday Machines in  Depression Poems  Life Poems

I can't believe the days pass so quickly
the words are a circle in my mind
they start collecting smudge-lines
ever faster as they move

even the sunset is full of sprockets,
gears spinning visibly in orange-pink
you thought I wouldn't notice my focus
growing blurry, greasy with fast food
